Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 5, 2026
StuntCopter is an arcade game for iPhone, iPad and Android. It has no accounts, ads or in-app purchases, and it doesn't track you across other apps or websites. This policy explains the little information the game does collect and why. It covers StuntCopter 1.3 and later on iPhone and iPad, and the Android version.
What stays on your device
Your high score, whether you've seen the tilt help, and when the game last asked for a rating are stored only on your device. Deleting the game deletes them.
Usage and crash data
The game uses two Google Firebase services to help me find bugs and understand how the game is played:
- Firebase Analytics records when the game is opened and how long it's played, and a few game events: starting a game, reaching a new level, and the score, level and number of landings when a game ends. Along with them, it records your device model, its iOS or Android version, the app version, an app-specific identifier, and your general region (such as your country), which Google works out from your internet address.
- Firebase Crashlytics sends a report when the game crashes. The report includes where in the game the crash happened, your device model and its iOS or Android version, details such as free memory at the time, and an identifier for this installation of the game.
None of this includes your name, email address, contacts or precise location, and it isn't linked to your identity. The game is built without access to your device's advertising identifier, and this data isn't used for advertising. Google processes it on my behalf under the Firebase privacy terms, and it's encrypted when it's sent.
Game Center
On iPhone and iPad, if you're signed in to Game Center, your scores and the achievements you earn are sent to Apple's Game Center service for the leaderboards. Apple handles that information under Apple's Privacy Policy. You can sign out of Game Center in your device's Settings.
Ratings and reviews
Now and then the game may ask whether you'd like to rate it. That prompt is shown by Apple on iPhone and iPad, and by Google Play on Android. I don't receive anything from it except the public rating or review you choose to post.
Sharing
I don't sell or rent any information. Apart from the services above, I share information only if the law requires it.
Children
StuntCopter is suitable for all ages. It doesn't ask anyone, including children, for personal information, and it has no ads, purchases or ways to contact other players.
How long it's kept
Usage data tied to the app-specific identifier is kept for up to 14 months and then deleted. Crash reports are kept for 90 days. Summary reports that don't identify anyone, such as how many games were played each day, may be kept longer.
Your choices
Deleting the game stops all collection and deletes everything stored on your device. The usage and crash data aren't linked to you, so there's no way to pick out one player's data, but it's deleted automatically after the periods above.
Earlier versions
Versions of StuntCopter before 1.3 on iPhone and iPad showed ads from Chartboost, which collected information under its own privacy policy. Updating to the current version removes them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
Contact
StuntCopter is made by Robert Wilson. For questions about this policy, open an issue on the StuntCopter issue list. You'll need a free GitHub account. Everything there is public, so don't include any personal information. On Android, you can also write to the developer email shown on the game's Google Play listing.
